  • In order to maximize benefits, a Company bases its actions on certain strategies which helps it to meet its goal of generating profits. Among the different actions an organization can use, there is the social responsibility and the strategic relationship with the community. Starting from the definition of community, going through a description of social responsibility and its different ways of applicability within a company, to the definition of community strategies; this research focuses its efforts on determining the existing link between the concepts of social responsibility and strategic relationship with the community. Furthermore, it is arises that different customer relationships strategies, such as relationship marketing or the CRM, which focus their efforts on knowing each of the company’s customer in order to make an offer that meet client’s needs, are not very effective in creating an emotional bond with the community.
