Objectivity and impartiality are ideal characteristics for exercising judicial functions; However, it is realistic to think that the judges' personal traits can influence their decisions. To study the influence of political ideology on Judicials decisions has been of great interest for literature, and the analysis of this phenomenon in Colombia is the objective of this work. Using a Difference in Discontinuities model, the behavior of the disciplinary processes of Procuraduría General de la Nación is examined, finding evidence that supports a politicization in Colombia in the period 2009 to 2015.
