abstract

  • Aspeger's Syndrome is a neurobiological disorder that is within the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), this neurodevelopmental dysfunction is characterized in general terms by difficulties in social interaction and isolation from the environment, as well as little interest in emotional codes . Their greatest challenges are centered on the difficulty to relate, as well as to understand emotions and demonstrate their own. Its clinical approach is based on therapeutic interventions that collaborate with social, communication and occupational skills. For its part, technologies such as Virtual Reality have shown great potential in different sectors, including health. They allow the senses to experience sensations derived from the activities carried out during the dive. In the case of people with ASD, previous studies have been carried out in which, through interactions with simulations of everyday environments such as: streets, pedestrian crossings, means of transport or the home, have been report positive results. This project seeks to develop a technological prototype based on virtual reality (VR) that allows working social routines in people with and without Asperger's, and that in turn can serve as a therapeutic tool.
