Validación de contenido a través de juicio de expertos del instrumento Lefutcol diseñado para la detección de factores de riesgo de lesiones osteomusculares en jugadores de fútbol profesional colombiano

Introduction: By considering that soccer is one of the most intense sports, that requires great efforts from its athletes and it is also a sport with a high incidence of injuries, it was considered necessary to create and validate an instrument to detect health risk factors in its practice. This study is considered necessary, given the small number of related studies in Colombia. It must be stated that instruments of this kind are important because they allow the registration of incidents and are useful in determining risk factors in any given event, while considering recurrence and level of affectation. In this way, the importance of creating an instrument that allows the detection of risk factors as a preventive mechanism in the occurrence of musculoskeletal injuries of professional soccer players in Colombia is highlighted. Objective: Perform content validation through expert judgment of the lefutcol instrument designed for the detection of risk factors for musculoskeletal injuries in Colombian professional soccer players. Materials and Method: A validation of the content of the LEFUTCOL instrument was developed, by stablishing the agreement on the content of the instrument among five judges or experts who evaluated its relevance, coherence, clarity and sufficiency. It was also sought to establish the agreement index in relation to the proposed weights for each item and dimension, by using Kappa coefficient. In addition, the percentage of comprehensibility of each item was determined. Results: In terms of the appearance, the report was an almost perfect degree of agreement for the content of each dimension, and a substantial agreement for the distribution of the proposed weights. In the distribution of proposed weights, the first dimension was modified, according to the suggestions made by the experts. In addition, it was found a 100% comprehensibility. Conclusion: The LEFUTCOL instrument is valid for the detection of risk factors for musculoskeletal injuries in Colombian professional soccer players.
