abstract

  • Care coordination is essential for the adequate performance of the health service networks. The Colombian health system, characterized by high fragmentation of services, presents problems of coordination between care levels that have not been sufficiently studied, particularly its changes in public networks in different periods of time. The objective of this paper is to analyze the changes in the experience and perception of care coordination of primary care and specialized care physicians of two public sub-networks of health services in Bogotá in 2015 and 2017, before and after an intervention of joint meetings and the reorganization of the health care model in the city.
