The present investigation proposes to study if portable sanitation can, should and should be included within the legal regime of residential public services, given its apparent similarity to sewage. In this sense, the research problem is aimed at identifying whether alternative solutions for the management of excreta such as portable toilets, given their similarity to the activities that make up the system of home public services, should be part of this system?
