  • IntroductionWorkplaces contribute to the welfare of the individual and in some cases can become factors leading to changes in the health condition. Workers may be predisposed to some type of skeletal muscle that are generated during the workday creating discomfort and sometimes be associated with risk factors psychosocial disorders. ObjectiveEstablish the relationship between psychosocial risk factors with musculoskeletal symptoms in work-ers linked to a social enterprise of Bogotá, 2014 state. MethodsCross-sectional study was conducted on a sample of 203 workers. Battery instruments as psychoso-cial risk and Nordic questionnaire was used, for the perception of skeletal muscle symptoms. Statisti-cal analysis was performed using measures of central tendency and dispersion and associations in order to know the variables that relate to the event were measured. SPSS 20 for Windows was han-dled. Results78. 8% of workers were female, with a mean age of 38 ± 10. 28 years. The average years of seniority within the company was 3. 9 ±, 6553, found that 90. 4% are exposed to psychosocial factors outside work with very low risk classification and 91. 6% to intralaboral factors classification very high risk. Prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms at neck level was found with 70%, lumbar back with 56. 2%, hand or wrist 54. 7% and 51. 7% shoulder. Significant difference between the domain of work de-mands with hand / wrist (p < 0. 05), followed by the dimensions of control over work with shoulder symptoms (p < 0. 05) symptoms present in shoulder and found. ConclusionsThe study population presented a high prevalence of skeletal muscle symptoms and a high psycho-social risk intralaboral probably due to characteristics of work and organization that influence health and wellness.
