Geotermia de baja entalpía a partir de aguas asociada a la de producción crudo de un campo petrolero en la cuenca colombiana de los Llanos Orientales
Thesis
This paper analyzes the technical feasibility of using the heat of the water associated with crude oil production as a geothermal resource before reinjection for electricity generation by simulating an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) of a crude oil production field. Heavy in the Eastern Plains. The thermal efficiency of the cycle is analyzed with three different working fluids: propane, n-butane and the fluorocarbon-based refrigerant R-134a, and a sensitivity is carried out with the flows and maximum and minimum temperatures recorded. The incorporation of clean energy cogeneration initiatives will allow the reduction of emissions and possibly operating costs by substituting fossil fuels in the extraction and production activities in the oil fields
