The present article is oriented to describe the most important literature about Sustainable Leadership. The main purpose of this review article is to understand how this literature defines both terms, Leadership and Sustainability, because there are a lot of definitions that have been given before that are becoming obsolete with the concept of Sustainable Leadership, a concept that has increasingly become more important in the organizational field. For these reason, this article will also show the influence and relevance of the concept in an organizational context. Organizations can no longer be indifferent to the climate and inequality problems that the world is facing because it is precisely these organizations that contribute in large part to these problems that are being directly reflected in today's society.
