The present work of degree is an investigation whose purpose is to study the particularities of the application of activities and projects in the environment of corporate social responsibility in the Argentine financial sector. Its starting point is the Banco Galicia organization, which has been making inroads into this area since 1964 with the Banco Galicia Foundation, applying a sustainability project and making known the way in which it faces social, environmental and economic challenges. from a financial perspective. It will begin by detailing the context in which the Argentine financial sector is in order to analyze the main characteristics that encompass social responsibility in the sector. The economic, demographic and cultural factors of Argentina will be analyzed, describing the most relevant phenomena of the sector to be studied, emphasis will also be made in the context of the organizations visited in the mission such as Banco Galicia, Coca Cola FEMSA, Toyota , among others. On the other hand, the concepts pertaining to social responsibility and covering the financial sector will be analyzed to give a conclusion as to why Argentina has a potential growth in the application of social responsibility compared to other continent countries
