abstract

  • This document is the result of the work carried out as part of our internship at McMaster University, in Canada, during which I had the opportunity to delve into the complex situation that many migrants must go through in search of better conditions and the diseases that can affect them in the premigratory and migratory phase. Health care for migrants is a right and must also be timely and easily obtained. In order to maintain the health of this population, coordination by the municipal, departmental, and central governments is essential, as well as the provision of means for the prevention and management of diseases in this population.
