  • The notion of healthy organization increasingly becomes more relevant in the academic and business world, as it has been shown that organizations that create healthy environments and adopt healthy practices positively affect their various stakeholders, including employees, partners, suppliers, customers and society (Grueso and Rey, 2013). In order to contribute to the previously mentioned, then is going to be presented the advance of a documentary and applied research, which seeks to understand how the adoption of Social Responsibility Practices contributes to the welfare of employees in two companies of the retail sector in Colombia.To achieve this, first will be displayed the theoretical foundations and history of studies and research on Corporate Social Responsibility and welfare of employees. Later will be described the methodology developed for the collection of information and the process by which this was analyzed. The following section describes the findings and finally will be proposed the conclusions of the study.
