abstract

  • The ecotourism in the area and particullary in the National Park Tayrona brings new ways of working, land relation and new peasant practices around conservation areas. The state program familias guardabosques required to the peasant join to business practices and claimed for conservation uses of land. Practices, far from the work on crops of coca previously in the area. But this condition was not successful and brought a lot of problems around the land tenure and the failure of peasant eco tourism projects. While elite and private companies manager of ecotourism business keept and got successful. In my work, I try to show the ecotourism paradoxes about land tenure in the area, in one hand for some it facilitate the access, but in the other hand it posibilitates the dispossesion. The ecotourism got into a place of inequalities and violence, to fixates as a “bonanza” that kept the landscape of inequalities.
