abstract

  • The digital revolution and globalization have given rise to a phenomenon of hyperconnectivity that is emerging in all aspects of human activity, including work. Consequently, the borders between work time and rest time have been blurred at an accelerated pace. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has made the reduction in disconnection time that workers have even more evident and consequential, which is why it has become necessary for companies and the legislative body to become aware of these needs. The legislator has issued regulations in which he has tried to impose the limits that the employee has to request the execution of the tasks. Likewise, the companies have done their part by implementing policies within the companies to ensure compliance with the labor disconnection.
