abstract

  • From the universal notion about the company as an interaction system with a given environment to achieve a goal in a planned manner and according to the demands of a market through economic activity, its viability, sustainability and growth will depend, of course, of a series of strategies not only for such purposes, but also to face diverse endogenous and exogenous agents which may affect the normal performance of its management We are talking about the importance of organizational resilience and Psychological Capital. In an unpredictable scenario as the global economy, where the constant are the changes in its behaviour —a characteristic of its dynamics and interdependence, natural phenomena such as globalization, and other derivatives of disruptive events, i.e. producing abrupt ruptures— today more than ever it’s imperative to implement resilient business model, which is the entity capable to adapt and recover itself from a disturbance. At the same time, beyond its size, nature or purpose, it’s essential above all to recognize basically that every organization is made up of people, implying the significance for its operation has human-dependent factor, and therefore there is a need to promote Psychological Capital and resilience in the context of organizations through an organizational culture.
