  • This work paper pretended to research and analyze how crude oil and natural gas market works, aiming to determine the influence of exploration and storage of crude oil and gas within the relations between organizations and communities; considering the community concept of relational marketing, where community refers to the consumers and their environment. In this context there were defined the principal actors participating in this commercial relationship, the kind of relation between them, and all factors involved in the development of this relationship which is every time more unstable and short-termed. At the end of this research was it expected to gather information about commercial relations in crude oil and natural gas market, which could work as basis for future researches which could propose alternatives to cope with uncertainty of this market and in this way could develop a more reliable and lasting relationship between the organizations and communities involved in this commercial process. Due there are huge diversity of strategies that could be implemented to keep a stable relationship, even if most of the time these strategies are not used.
