The anesthesiology program aims to produce doctors who are specialists in the field, with clear knowledge of anesthesia for all patients and both emergency and scheduled procedures in environments of hospitals at all levels. There is a particular interest in training specialists with expertise in anesthetic procedures on pediatric, adult and elderly populations, in order to work in conjunction with the other surgical specialties on the full range of procedures that are carried out in the operating theater.
