Positions

My research interests lie at the intersection of economic growth and labor economics. My research on economic growth seeks to understand the interaction between innovation, business dynamics, and macroeconomic outcomes. My research on labor topics studies the labor market's functioning. My research approach starts from a rigorous empirical analysis to discipline quantitative models developed to address policy-relevant questions. I hold a PhD in Economics from Georgetown University, an M.A. in Economics from the University of Bonn, and a B.A. degree in European Economics from the University of Tor Vergata. Before joining the Universidad del Rosario, I was a Max-Weber post-doctoral fellow at the European University Institute. I worked as an instructor for the Economic Statistics course for undergraduate students at Georgetown University and I taught an advanced doctoral course on Firm Dynamics and Innovation at the European University Institute.
