El presente proyecto tiene como propósito dar mayor visibilidad y fortalecer la relación en materia de Derecho Internacional Penal y Humanitario entre la Red Latinoamericana de Revistas y publicaciones de Derecho Internacional (RELAREDI) y la Red Perspectivas Ibero Americanas sobre la Justicia dos redes de investigación surgidas en 2015 y coordinadas por distintos miembros del grupo de investigación en Derecho internacional de la Universidad del Rosario, las cuales están teniendo un impacto muy significativo en la producción académica del mencionado grupo de investigación. En este contexto, se busca articular a lo largo del año 2019 la cooperación entre ambas Redes en materia de Derecho Internacional Penal y Humanitario, lo que sin duda favorecerá las actividades de investigación en esta materia tanto a nivel de la Universidad del Rosario, como a nivel de Ibero-América. Para ello se pretende desarrollar durante el I Semestre de 2019 el II Congreso de Derecho Internacional de la Universidad del Rosario con particular atención al 20 Aniversario de la Aprobación del Estatuto de la Corte Penal Internacional (días 19 y 20 de abril). Así mismo, durante el II Semestre de 2019 se tienen previsto organizar un conversatorio sobre el 70 Aniversario de la Convención para la Prevención y Sanción del Delito de Genocidio (14 de noviembre de 2019), en el marco del cual se presentará la publicación resultante del trabajo de investigación sobre “El Legado del Tribunal Penal Internacional para la Ex - Yugoslavia con respecto a la Aplicación del Delito de Genocidio en el 70 Aniversario de su Convención”.
The present project aims to give greater visibility and strengthen the relationship in the field of International Criminal and Humanitarian Law between the Latin American Network of International Law Journals and Publications (RELAREDI) and the Ibero-American Perspectives on Justice Network, two research networks that emerged in 2015 and are coordinated by different members of the international law research group at the Universidad del Rosario, which are having a very significant impact on the academic production of the aforementioned research group. In this context, it is sought to articulate throughout 2019 the cooperation between both networks in the field of International Criminal and Humanitarian Law, which will undoubtedly favor research activities in this area both at the level of the Universidad del Rosario, as well as in Ibero-America. For this purpose, the II Congress of International Law of the Universidad del Rosario will be held during the first semester of 2019, with particular attention to the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Statute of the International Criminal Court (April 19 and 20). Likewise, during the second semester of 2019, a conference on the 70th Anniversary of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide will be organized (November 14, 2019), within the framework of which the publication resulting from the research work on "The Legacy of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia with respect to the Application of the Crime of Genocide on the 70th Anniversary of its Convention" will be presented.
