En el Estado colombiano los escenarios migratorios han sido cambiantes en los últimos años; pasamos de ser un país de origen de inmigrantes hacia el extranjero, a ser un país de destino por algunos de los Estados vecinos como lo es Venezuela. Esto se ha intensificado a raíz de la crisis política por la que atraviesa el mundo y justifica la necesidad de producir investigaciones en esta materia, no solo de manera genérica, sino referente a grupos poblacionales que son especialmente vulnerables, como el caso de las mujeres que migran por la confluencia de causas tales como la persecución política y el efecto adverso que esto presenta en el disfrute de los derechos humanos, entre otros. La presencia de las mujeres dentro de los flujos migratorios y el impacto que esta situación tiene, no es una novedad. Plantea unos desafíos muy concretos respecto al tratamiento de su especial situación con un enfoque de derechos humanos y de género. En el presente proyecto el estudio de población diferenciada tendrá como objeto la realidad de las mujeres migrantes provenientes de Venezuela.Para tales fines, este proyecto busca analizar el fenómeno de la feminización de los procesos migratorios entre Venezuela y Colombia en el periodo 2014-2018, a través de la elaboración de cuatro diagnósticos regionales que permitan, identificar la situación de los derechos humanos de esta población y sus mecanismos de protección.Para la ejecución del proyecto se plantea la posibilidad de un trabajo colaborativo con la Red Socio Jurídica a través de los cuatro nodos seleccionados para el estudio. La participación de la Universidad del Rosario en calidad de Secretaría Ejecutiva de esta Red facilita la ejecución del proyecto y los contactos regionales.
In the Colombian State the migratory scenarios have been changing in recent years; we went from being a country of origin of immigrants towards the foreigner, to being a country of destination for some of the neighboring States such as Venezuela. This has intensified as a result of the political crisis that the world is going through and justifies the need to produce research in this area, not only in a generic manner, but also with reference to population groups that are especially vulnerable, as in the case of women who migrate due to the confluence of causes such as political persecution and the adverse effect this has on the enjoyment of human rights, among others. The presence of women within the migratory flows and the impact that this situation has, is not a novelty. It poses very specific challenges with respect to the treatment of their special situation with a human rights and gender approach. In the present project, the differentiated population study will focus on the reality of migrant women from Venezuela.To this end, this project seeks to analyze the phenomenon of the feminization of migration processes between Venezuela and Colombia in the period 2014-2018, through the preparation of four regional diagnoses that allow the identification of the human rights situation of this population and its protection mechanisms.In order to carry out the project, the possibility of collaborating with the Socio-Legal Network through the four nodes selected for the study is proposed. The participation of the Universidad del Rosario as Executive Secretariat of this Network facilitates the execution of the project and regional contacts.
