  • The general objective of this work was to analyze the transformation in the perceptions and use of the sea by Raizal women fishermen on the island of San Andrés after the Hague Ruling. In order to comply, I sought to describe the perceptions and use of the sea by Raizal fisherwomen on the island of San Andrés before 2012 when the Hague Judgment was declared. Also, I tried to understand the perceptions and the current use of the maritime territory by raizales fisherwomen and to identify the transformations in the lives of fisherwomen after the Hague Ruling, taking into account the perception and uses of the sea by the raizal fisherwomen of the island of San Andrés.
