abstract

  • The main objective of the research is to analyze good business mentoring practices that can serve as a benchmark for the Mega National Business Pathway Program (MEGA), developed by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá DC To meet this objective, first of all , a review of the international literature on mentoring at the corporate level is necessary. Subsequently, the different national experiences on mentoring among large, medium and small companies are studied; and finally the main practices associated with business mentoring that can be applied in the MEGA program are identified. For the fulfillment of the objectives, the methodology to be used is a bibliographic and literature review in the sense that the approach to theories and practices on mentoring are an essential reference within the exercise of institutional activities of the MEGA program. This methodology allows the researcher to capture apparently disjointed data and information, so that with the approach of different secondary sources it is possible to constitute coherent solutions that respond to the objectives set, and where the conclusions will be the result of the analysis of the phenomena found. where meeting points, regularities and causalities are obtained. Through the development of research, it is recognized that the Mega program has established itself as an important initiative for the exchange of experiences and learning, but it has important limitations associated mainly with the absence of a methodology and with the lack of previous studies on the needs of the participants. Therefore, improvement strategies are proposed focused on knowledge of the environment, socialization of knowledge and transmission of learning.
