  • The purpose of this work was to study the relationship between leadership and burnout in healthcare workers (assistance and administrative) based on a systematic literature review, using the SCOPUS database. Within the selection criteria, they had in account the articles published between 2011 and 2021, which had both variables and were quantitative articles. In total, 26 studies were selected. The results showed that leadership styles were related in different ways to burnout in healthcare workers, the most studied was the authentic leadership, followed by the transformational leadership. The importance of addressing leadership practices in the healthcare sector in order to contribute to improving the quality of life of health personnel through the reduction of syndromes that affect it, such as burnout.
