Thesis
Knowledge of regional/local rates of resistance should always be an essential component of the clinical decision-making process when deciding on the empirical treatment of an infection. Microorganisms and resistance profiles founded have similar characteristics to those reported in the rest of the world, such as microorganisms cataloged as ESKAPE, mainly related to infections of intrahospitalary origin and resistance profiles showed a low resistance with respect to the referenced reports.
