This monograph reviews some of the most significant events that have affected the Polisario claim in seeking international recognition of Western Sahara. In this respect, the research is concerned with describing and analyzing the events that have led to the evolution of the structure of political opportunities through which acts the Polisario Front, across different repertoires of collective action which have facilitated the internationalization of the Saharawi cause. To this end, theoretical and conceptual tenets drawn from studies of social movements are used. The study concludes with a series of reflections that allow to have a better approach to the situation of the Western Sahara and the factors that have allowed to generate greater solidarity around the saharawi struggle.
