This work deals with the emancipatory role that silence can assume in relations of conflict or violence. The proposal, in order to defend such emancipatory capacity, is that in such scenarios the silent experience can function as a mean in which the Face is presented exclusively as a Face. This statement assumes that, in silence, the Other is offered in his nakedness and precariousness.
