In this document the Biomax case is written, and the following analysis of the sector of distribution of biofuels are made: legal regulation, quantitative overcrowding, strategic erosion and productivity erosion. Also an approach to the identification of the behaviors associated to the transformational and/or transactional style of leadership of the CEO of the company is made. A review of the company´s history and business model is presented. Finally it is found that there is inclination of the CEO of the company towards a transformational style of leadership that can be related to the achievements reached by the company in a short period.
