It is common to find difficulties in the classroom to maintain students' attention, awaken their interest in the content of the subjects and motivate them in their learning processes. The teaching resources used by teachers are increasingly repetitive and the possibilities of innovating in class are subject to tangible limitations (absence of physical material in general, technological or rudimentary equipment) or intangible limitations (disinterest, lack of knowledge or discouragement on the part of the teacher). , given institutional, personal or even social difficulties. In this context, Expai appears, a collaborative platform for the development of binaural audio as an experiential teaching resource for immersive learning in the classroom. It involves the creation of educational material in audios (called capsules), thematic narratives alluding to the academic content of each subject, accompanied by soundscapes and plugins that provide the binaural character to the final product. Expai is the brand of an inter-institutional and transdisciplinary academic community that works together, but also an idea that any teacher can replicate on their own if they wish, because what is intended with the implementation of the teaching resource in the classroom is the creation of experiences, where students explore a non-traditional way of approaching knowledge; sharpen their sense of hearing and use it as another means of learning, diversifying the teaching resources that already exist and stimulating their creativity, reflection and training. After the iteration phase with students and teachers, it was concluded that the tool is not only useful, but also highly attractive, viable and functional. It is expected to continue exploring the field of sound as a teaching resource and consolidate alliances with universities, research groups, teachers and students, interested in the creation of different capsules and the transformation of the learning experience.
