  • This project has been developed in order to find the relationship between the leadership and the locus of control, through a literature review which would give a broader view of these two phenomena.According to investigations, there are individual characteristics that affect the development of leadership, which has an impact on the behavior of individuals within a society. One of these factors is the locus of control, determined by characteristics of the individual, and the environment in which people operate. Different evidence supporting this relationship between locus of control and leadership. In this documental study these findings were described, identifying the characteristics of the individual and the context that influence them. It was also through work contextualize the main characteristics of leaders and how interactions between leaders and followers are manifested, given that not all the followers sometimes develop this role to follow their leader, but on the other side, they can take fundamental part in the interaction, influencing directly on the leader. It is important to remember that the leaders make their followers and that they could not develop without the leading role.
