One of the causes of knee osteoarthritis is septic arthritis, with joint replacement being one of the treatment alternatives for this population. The importance for the surgeon to successfully achieve a joint replacement in a previously infected knee is the purpose of this research; which leads us to ask ourselves the following question: In patients taken to knee joint replacement due to osteoarthritis secondary to septic arthritis, what are the outcomes in terms of infection control, functionality and mobility arcs? Objective Perform a systematic scoping reviews in which the outcomes of management with joint replacement in patients with osteoarthritis secondary to septic knee arthritis are described.
