  • The analysis in this paper focus on the characterization of the Argentine movement Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, seen through a political context switching determinant for society of this country. This research reference temporal space between 1983-1995. The year for which part this study marks the transition of National Reorganization Process towards democratic elections by 30 October 1983, on the other hand, the limit is determined by the second post-dictatorship democratic government, because by studying the political decisions that were taken both in the government of Raul Alfonsin and Carlos Menem may appreciate the impact of these decisions on the composition, ideology and actions of the movement.
