Women's soccer in Colombia and Mexico can be compared not only because of the year in which professionalization began in both countries (2017), but also because they have similar characteristics such as the salary that the players receive, the discrimination and the treatment that the players give them. managers and sponsors to the athletes. In this degree work, an exhaustive analysis of the differences and similarities in the development of professional leagues in both countries was carried out, and an attempt was made to raise questions about the abysmal difference between men and women in Latin American and world soccer.
