abstract

  • This ethnographic research, carried out in the center and town of Kennedy de Bogotá, focused on analyzing and understanding the construction of a new youth citizenship and counter-hegemonic political identity that is beginning to weave within the Hip Hop movement in Bogotá. Social-artistic movement with intergenerational diversity and unique artistic practices (Rap, Break Dance and Graffiti), characterized by dynamics such as self-management, textile-music entrepreneurship, self-sustainability and the constant use of digital technologies. With which the construction of pedagogical projects, social communication projects and economic entrepreneurship projects and, especially, the visibility of a youth citizenry contrary to that of institutional narratives are possible. Finally, with this research, carried out and located in a context of constant technological interaction, it is possible to know the new connections and youth dynamics that are configured with the help of internet social networks, regional-global connections that allow us to approach the demands and youth political perspectives that are configured in the context of social, economic and cultural precariousness in Latin America.
