The stigma studied by sociology has triggered discussions about the phenomenon and its impact on the lives of individuals. Now, it is easy to detect an increase in initiatives led by governments and national and international institutions to end health stigma. Despite the anti-stigma campaigns, stigma prevail due to the resistance to ask for help and the consequent worsement of the condition. The situation with stigma and mental health raises questions such as: What happens once a person decides to ask for help? This research unravels a set of challenges that anti-stigma campaigns don't talk about, from long waits for an appointment, difficulties paying for it, bureaucratic processes and bad experiences in sessions. These inquiries are developed to suggest that if you want to attack the stigma on mental health, it is necessary to address other scenarios where it occurs.
