The objective of this article is to propose an approach to the anthropology of professions from the study of the process of professionalization of female soccer players in Bogota. The research is proposed as a qualitative study, using life stories and participant observation as the tools to trace the moments, tensions and problems present in the professionalization of the players. In addition to the above, we seek to understand the process of professionalization, describing the trajectory they go through to become professionals, analyzing the place of gender and femininity from the experience of the players and consolidating an approach from the anthropology of professions in the analysis of the experiences of the players and the construction of femininities
