This paper seeks to relate the concept of sustainability criteria such as turbulence and globalization. In today`s world, companies face a dilemma : survive or die. Any company that this is intended to generate income last over time , but the current scenario of globalization and competition forces to boost economic activity so that the company can survive by implementing strategies and capacity adaptability. Within the concept of sustainability, we see two trends. The first related to the different definitions and research conducted around corporate sustainability, from which it follows that sustainability can be defined in a global environment. It is an umbrella term as the sum of the different angles and viewpoints of world cultures. It is a confluence of knowledge. Finally, after a review of the theories and studies on the subject, raises a conclusions and recommendations in order to leave open the issue and invite new generations to deepen in the subject.
