This article investigates the social experience of young motherhood based on seven women grouped in re-socialization and job qualification processes at IDIPRON. The theoretical tools come from François Dubet's proposal, and from dialogue with other latitudes. Information was collected through focus groups, life stories, and workshops. The exercise made it possible to understand motherhood as a framework of provisions and arrangements that operates on action and meanings, and to explore this phenomenon in youth, an issue that has been neglected by the bibliography that deals with motherhoods.
