This report seeks to explain a process of intervention, corresponding to the practice required to qualify for the Masters Degree in Social Studies with emphasis on intervention of the Universidad del Rosario, held at the District Department of Social Integration (SDIS) specifically in the Comprehensive Care of Persons with Disabilities, Families and Caregivers Caregivers, Closing the Gaps whose bodies in charge are the Growing Centers. Put like that, the above mentioned project proposes the social integration of children and adolescents in condition cognitive disabilities through building a life project directed to different social contexts, which is accompanied by caregivers, which in this case mainly correspond to the person closest to disability status, ie a parent families. However, the analysis object around which this report is built are not individuals on disability status but those who devote their lives to the care of these, ie caregivers.
