abstract
Describe the impact of rare variants in the 3'UTR regions of genes related to the molecular etiology of breast cancer.The seed capital fund is part of the strategy to promote and strengthen research and its purpose is to provide a favorable ecosystem for the development of research at Universidad del Rosario. The diversification of instruments and funds for the financing of research projects allows a timely response to the heterogeneity of capacities and needs among the different academic units, groups and researchers, as well as to the University's own interests in research. The seed capital fund is oriented to support the financing of: exploratory phases of research projects that may find greater possibilities of presentation to external calls once they have some initial results; initial phases of projects of greater magnitude but that are not yet financed; development stages of projects financed only through the work plan of the researchers in their academic unit. Consideration will also be given to funding the final stages of projects that have encountered funding difficulties in their timely completion.
Describir el impacto de variantes raras en las regiones 3’UTR de genes relacionados con la etiología molecular del cáncer de seno.El fondo concursable de capital semilla hace parte de la estrategia de fomento y fortalecimiento de la investigación y su propósito es ofrecer un ecosistema favorable para el desarrollo de la investigación en la Universidad del Rosario. La diversificación de instrumentos y fondos para la financiación de proyectos de investigación, permite responder de manera oportuna a la heterogeneidad de capacidades y necesidades entre las distintas unidades académicas, grupos e investigadores, así como a los propios intereses de la Universidad en temas de investigación. El fondo de capital semilla está orientado a apoyar la financiación de: fases exploratorias de proyectos de investigación que pueden encontrar mayores posibilidades de presentación a convocatorias externas una vez tengan algunos resultados iniciales; fases iniciales de proyectos de mayor magnitud pero que no se encuentran todavía financiados; etapas de desarrollo de proyectos financiados únicamente a través del plan de trabajo de los investigadores en su unidad académica. Se considerará también la financiación de etapas finales de proyectos que hayan encontrado dificultades de financiación en su oportuna conclusión.
