Dr. Claudia Talero Gutiérrez, medical doctor and tenured professor in Neuroscience at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences in undergraduate (Rehabilitation, Psychology and Medicine) and graduate courses (Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and ORL). She is founding member of the Neuroscience research group NeURos as well as Junior researcher entitle by MinCiencias. Dr. Talero has multiple publications in national and international indexed journals. In addition, she has participated as a speaker in conferences and academic meetings. She was granted the Juan Agustín Uricoechea y Navarro Award for excellence teaching. Phoniatrics specialist. She has a strong background on scientific management in Institutions focused on the care of population with communication disabilities, hearing loss and neurodevelopmental disorders. Her research interest focusses on characterization of disorders in neurodevelopment and learning in Colombian population, such as ADHD, Autism, Down syndrome, and hearing loss among others.
