  • Se propone un estudio descriptivo observacional de una cohorte de estudiantes en dos momentos, que permita describir el impacto de los factores sociodemográficos y estructurales en el desempeño académico de los niños y niñas de los colegios de Colombia, a través del análisis de los resultados de las pruebas SABER de quinto y onceavo grado.Particularmente, se pretende evaluar el desempeño en las pruebas de matemáticas y lenguaje, así como identificar las diferencias entre colegios, según su localización, población, nivel de ingresos, acceso a recursos, idiomas y condición socioeconómica. Adicionalmente, desde la perspectiva del neurodesarrollo típico, se busca identificar aquellos factores que influencian el proceso de aprendizaje en estos dos campos, con el fin de promover estrategias para mitigar su efecto y disminuir la desigualdad en esta población
