Purpose: This article proposes and implements a measurement instrument for the concept of Creating Shared Value (CVC) in the business context, focusing on the case study of Realtix SAS in Colombia. Methodology: The research used a case study of Realtix SAS, an information technology company in the B2G sector, based on the creation of shared value (CVC) to evaluate its economic and social benefits. Documents were extracted from databases, followed by a literature review on CVC. Consequently, surveys were conducted with key actors and historical company data was analysed. Findings: From this study it was found that if there is an impact on society on the part of Realtix SAS, if there was an increase in collection and efficiency in the projects, that there is professional development and youth employment. Finally, a clear scope of public policy objectives. Practical implications: This study had practical implications in the application of the creation of shared value (CVC) specifically in an SME in the technology sector, measurement of social impact, and finally, professional and economic development. Originality/value: The originality of the study lies in several aspects such as the focus on technology companies, specific case studies, combined methodology and development of a unique instrument that provides visibility on the creation of shared value in Colombia.
