abstract

  • After the end of the Cold War, the Republic of Turkey was faced with the need to establish the role that should play in the changing international system. A more active presence in the Middle East as well as its regions of interest, mediating between conflicting parties as also against the West and building a regional leadership, have helped to build progressively Turkish identity as a middle power. Thus, this paper aims to analyze the role of Turkey as a middle power in world politics in Post Cold War.
