William R. Rodriguez-Dueñas is a biomedical engineer from University Corporation for Science and Development, specialist in Bioengineering at the Francisco José de Caldas University in Bogotá, Colombia, with a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a PhD in Engineering from the University of Zaragoza in Spain. He is currently an associate professor in the Biomedical engineering program in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá. His research has focused on the development of technology to educate altered voice in children with disabilities, assistive technology, and education in engineering. He has conducted projects of free software in interdisciplinary teams for phonation stimulation and modulation of acoustical parameters of voice in children with disabilities.
